You can get rid of boredom forever
Dearest Trinity,
It seems like I so easily get bored which eventually puts me into a depression. Help!

Bored, Albany, N.Y.
Dearest Bored,
People who keep busy with projects, hobbies or keep an active social life rarely have time to get bored. Ask any workaholic, athlete or socialite. In other words, pumpkin, boredom is a lesson that you have to unlearn by slowly creating an active daily calendar, i.e., volunteering, starting a small business or creating projects, to keep you busy. So, get busy and remember, boredom leads to depression, activities lead to happiness.

Dear Trinity,
A few months ago I started dating someone, but recently he got sick and is now dying. With hospital stays and family visits it’s becoming very hard to have a relationship. Would I be evil to stop dating him?

It’s All Changed, Montreal, Quebec
Dear Changed,
The most difficult challenges in life often prove to be the most transformational. Thus you have two choices, continue dating and truly learn about love and compassion or stop dating and ruin someone’s last few months on earth. Oh, or try to keep dating but have a separate (quiet) romantic life on the side until he passes. If you do choose the latter, which I pray you will, sweetie, I’m sure you’ll learn that to be a good caretaker also means to take care of your needs as well.

Hello Trinity,
I’m about to have my commitment ceremony, but I keep thinking, “What if I end up divorced, left alone or loosing everything?” Is it normal to think about divorce when one is about to get committed?

Divorce Doubts, Jacksonville, Fla.
Hello Divorce Doubts,
Almost every couple waiting in that
long marriage certificate line at city hall has flashes of divorce. It happens to me every time, honey. So, thinking about divorce before getting married is healthy and even healthier if you put something down in writing, like a prenuptial agreement. You can always borrow my line, “If you love me you’ll make sure I’m taken care of emotionally and financially.” (My cartoon will help enlighten you!)

Hey Trinity,
When it comes to being seductive I really fall flat. I just don’t know what to do. Do you?

Falling Flat, Chicago, Ill.
Hey Falling Flat,
Seduction takes practice, patience and persistence not pushiness, darling. Plus, it takes:

Trinity’s Sassy Tips For Being Seductive

1. Clothing: Frederick’s of Hollywood and Victoria’s Secret for both men and women have made coming home after a hard day’s work some people’s greatest pleasure.

2. Packaging: When pageant contestants want to seduce judges they have their teeth whitened, dress tightened, hair styled, body smelling great and exude charm. Get the picture.

3. Exercise: You don’t have to be muscular or shapely to seduce everyone, but to seduce someone you may want to exercise along these lines.

4. Attitude: Thinking like a seducer or seductress will get you further faster than thinking that you’re a boring, unattractive nothing.

5.Women: When a woman wears her hair down she is seductive, period. If your own hair is too plain then try a wig. Every woman should own at least one sexy wig.

6. Men: If you’re being overbearing then “You’re overbearing!” Charm, sensitivity and being attentive are your built in seducing mechanisms. Use it! Don’t abuse it!

7. Glasses: It’s hard to look someone in the eyes or kiss their face passionately with glasses on. Need I say more?

8. Home: A sloppy house, unwashed bed sheets and a dirty bathroom seduce only zoo animals. Human beings just get disgusted whether they say something or not.

9. Study: Watch how other people dress, act and move when they are being seductive, then steal everything you think could work for you.

10. Lastly, Self-Esteem: Remember, seduction is a game to have fun with. Acceptance and rejection are also games to have fun with. So remember, this is nothing more than a game.

Don’t let your answers go unanswered!
