“Women. Period. An Anthology of Women Writing for and About Menstruation”
Seeking well-crafted poetry, fiction, non-fiction and essays celebrating, cursing and exploring menstruation. Editors want to hear stories from women all over the world. One of the first of its kind, “Women. Period. An Anthology of Women Writing for and About Menstruation” will celebrate and represent one of the most life changing events in a woman’s life.
Poetry Submisssions: Submit up to five poems, no more than 10 pages typed single-spaced. Fiction, non-fiction and essay submissions: Submit one original, unpublished story or essay, double-spaced (no longer than 2,500 words). Pages must be stapled and contain page numbers.
Submit two copies of the work with SASE and email address for notification. Manuscripts must be typewritten on 8.5 x 11 paper. Retain copies of the submission. Manuscripts will not be returned. All submissions must include a cover letter including the following: name, snail mail address, email address and phone number(s) for contact and brief bio (no more than one three-five line paragraph).
